When it comes to Cloud storage services, there a few to choose from. OneDrive is definitely one of the best. It is backed with a lot of features which makes this cloud storage service a very reliable way to back up your important data. The best thing about OneDrive is that it’s compatible with all of your devices, including Android. This makes it a truly great Cloud Storage service.
The interface of OneDrive is very easy to understand and once you learn everything it can do, you will then understand the true power of it. OneDrive looks and feels the same on any device, including Android. Combining the power of Android with OneDrive, makes up a very efficient combination which can help users back up their important documents, photos and more.
OneDrive can be used when working with Microsoft software programs such as Excel, Word, OneNote and PowerPoint. The backup is always done in real-time no matter which type of Android device you own. OneDrive is very efficient for people that depend on cloud especially when they are always on the move. You can see in real-time when someone is making a change to a document, which person made the change and you will even be notified of this. Another thing that makes OneDrive very suitable for business people is the fact that it’s very secure, which is important when dealing with important company data.
OneDrive is also very useful for normal users. The best thing about it is that it’s completely free to use with a basic starting plan of 5GB. You can integrate it with your Android device so that seconds after you have taken a photo it goes straight to the cloud where it will be kept safe. In addition to this, if you are looking for a photo among hundreds of others, with OneDrive that will take just a moment, since it tags your photos based on their visual.
We tested OneDrive on a Galaxy S6 Edge and all I can say is that this is probably the best cloud storage service there is. We were amazed to see how fast a few GB of photos were transferred from the Android phone to a Desktop running Windows 10. This made us realize that even though they are completely different operating systems, the transfer speed does not change. If you are looking for more data, then that’s not a problem with OneDrive since you can get more, 50GB, 1TB and 5TB are available at an extra cost.
